An elegant home with plush furnishings, charming history, landscaped garden, and beautiful views. Leonardo arranged a delicious terrace dinner. Free WiFi and continental breakfast. Perfect for chasing the evening sun.
No complaints, but a squeaky bathroom door added to the excitement.

What a lovely place! The hotel is very peaceful with outstanding views over the Umbrian countryside. The owners (mother and son) are very friendly, try to help you at any time, and make you feel part of the family. The public areas are very comfortable. Our room was very spacious and arranged with exquisite taste. Breakfast on the terrace was so pleasant. It was a marvellous stay, and we would certainly return with great pleasure.
These are not criticism but things you must know due to the location of the hotel : The hotel is not easy to find, do not trust GPS too much... You must be prepared to drive about 20/30 mn to have lunch or dinner.

Such a beautiful place - the owners are incredibly kind (make sure you try Leonardo's homemade wine). Breakfast was delicioso, the room was lovely...we loved being away from it all. Definitely make sure you have a car when you come here so you can go explore the little towns in the region.

The moment I stepped into Torre Palombara, I was captivated by the exquisite decor. The tastefully furnished common areas exuded elegance and charm, making me feel like I had stepped into a fairytale. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, with comfortable seating areas and easily navigable pathways throughout the property. It was a delight to stroll through the green gardens and soak in the tranquility of the surroundings. The attention to detail in the decoration truly made it a unique and enchanting escape.
I wish the children working there had been a bit more attentive to the needs of senior guests. A little more assistance or guidance, particularly when it came to navigating the area, would have made the vacation even better for senior people like myself.

Everything was perfect! Leonardo is a great host and Torre Palombara is a great place to stay. Wonderfully refurbished and restored to the glory of its period, you will find a comfortable stay with everyhting you need to be happy. Every detail is thought of and included. From here you can explore the beautiful Umbrian countryside (Leonardo will let you know the best places), sample the local cuisine (great tips from Leonardo), or you may just want to stay there and enjoy the wonderful areas on the grounds. Wether you are a couple looking for a romantic get-away or a family looking for a nice break - this is the place for you! I would highly recommend staying here - 10 out of 10!

The rooms at Torre Palombara - Dimora Storica have a charming antique decor that makes you feel like you've gone back in time. As a history enthusiast, I absolutely loved the vintage feel of the room.
Although the antique decor was charming, some might find it too outdated for their taste. However, I understand that others might still appreciate the unique character it brings to the room.

The hosts, Leonardo & his mother, were very gracious and friendly. Leonardo was exceptional in his willingness to accommodate us, provide us with regional info, visit with us as we enjoyed wine and the sunsets on the terrace. They come from a Narni family who have been in this area for centuries. In the past 3 years, they have completely renovated this beautiful country home/villa and it is impeccably maintained, as well as picturesque and beautiful in all of its appointments. The gardens, pool, lawn areas, shaded patio areas and interiors are lovely. The rooms are appointed with family heirloom furniture, the beds are extremely comfortable and the cappuccinos delicious and abundant. (No extra charges for 2nds& 3rds) Narni is a non touristy hill town close by & you could easily use this as a base to see Spoleto, Trevi, Spello, the Valnerina, etc. The 275 Garmin gps comes in handy to locate this place, as well as navigate everywhere in Europe|
Be sure to bring some local mosquito spray, which is only needed late afternoon, after a rain (for those susceptible to such things). They're small.

We had a wonderful stay at Torre Palombara. The hotel and rooms are carefully rebuilt and decorated.Every morning we woke up in the singing of birds, and the fresh smell of the woods! Leonardo and his family were very nice, friendly and offered help information about the interesting places and foods. The owners have high level taste on details, including the decoration, furniture, and the breakfast.

You cannot really fault anything at this hotel. It is in a lovely location, clean and well equipped with a lovely pool and facilities. It is surrounded by trees and the area is full of birdsong. As mentioned by other visitors, Leonardo who owns and runs the place is extremely helpful. He gave good local information regarding places to visit. Breakfast very good, particularly the omelettes. I cannot fault this hotel.
The is no hotel restaurant which some may need but we prefer to eat locally anyway. The main initial problem was getting to the place. Do not follow the directions presently given by Booking. We did and it was directing us to cross a river bridge to the south that is not yet built and we nearly grounded the car at a ford. Approach the hotel from the north on the Ponte San Lorenzo side as advised by Leonardo, off the ss3 road which is signposted for Torre Palombera and takes you straight to the hotel. This is not a criticism of the hotel and once there the hotel is excellent.
